Providing commercial kitchen space, food business incubation, and workshops to entrepreneurs since 2008

Starting a food business is intense and complex and takes perseverance. Doing it with the Can-Do Kitchen takes some of the stress out of the process. We can show you a roadmap and help you develop reasonable goals. We know the regulations you will face and are there to support you along the way. Can-Do Camp, startup support meetings, resource guides, connections in the industry, food safety guidance – this is how we support food entrepreneurs like you.

Can-Do Camp

We have our ear to the ground, listening to what the knowledge gaps are in the food maker community. Our camp sessions teach these valuable skills in order to help strengthen small businesses. We bring in skilled people to present and share their experience in these crucial small business topics.

These businesses are why we exist. They are passionate, dedicated food entrepreneurs who are turning their recipes and ideas into full-fledged businesses. Their foods fill your grocery bags and farmers’ market baskets each week. We celebrate them and are grateful to work side by side with them.

Ends Statement (vision): A diverse group of empowered, financially independent, entrepreneurs receive support and resources grounded in anti-racist values, contributing to Kalamazoo's economically vital community of diverse, locally-produced food options and thriving local employers.
